Iowa Lawyer Admits Having Sex with Client in His Office and at Her House, But Not in Court House

The Grievance Commission of the Iowa Supreme Court has recommended that the law license of Clovis M. Bowles, 56, be suspended for three years for having sex with his client on various occasions in 2007 and 2008, and also for repeatedly lying about it to investigators when questioned, according to a report by Clark Kauffman of Des Moines Register released on August 26, 2010.

Bowles admitted having committed both offenses, according to the same report.  But he said he regrets his actions.
