Laid-off Secretary Sues MoFo, Shaken by Uzi Threat
Aileen Martinez worked at Morrison & Foerster for 28 years before she was caught in the firm’s January 2009 swath of layoffs and lost her job. She has now filed a suit against the firm, claiming wrongful termination, apparently for complaining about a threat made by a firm associate.
In her lawsuit, Martinez claims that in 2008, MoFo associate Mimi Yang threatened to bring an Uzi to work and kill people if an important fax was not located.
