Penn. AGO: County Attorney Claims Traffic Accident Incapacitated Him, But He Gets Caught Playing Tennis and Going to the Gym
Agents from the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Insurance Fraud Section have filed criminal charges against a Montgomery County attorney accused of making false statements under oath in connection with his own injury claim following a traffic accident to support a lawsuit seeking $125,000 in damages.
Attorney General Linda Kelly identified the defendant as Edward T. Feierstein, 73, of 19 Rock Hill Road, Bala Cynwyd.
According to the criminal complaint, Feierstein falsely claimed that injuries from a 2006 traffic accident prevented him from engaging in various physical activities, including playing tennis and exercising at a gym.
