Corrections to the Technical Amendments to Online Registration of Claims to Copyright

An interim regulation was published by the Copyright Office in the Federal Register on July 6, 2007. This regulation provided for implementing an online registration system, and revised the Office’s regulations covering the procedures for the submission and processing of copyright registrations and recording of documents pertaining to copyright. This document provides for what the Copyright Office termed as “non–substantial corrections to errors contained in the interim regulations.” The interim rules became effective on July 6, 2007, while these “technical corrections” were made effective on July 25, 2007.
